A lot of thinking and planning is done when one prepares his/herself for an outdoor activity. Right from the clothes to the food and baggage everything needs to be planned in a systematic way. Where clothing is concerned I would like to introduce you to the cargo pant. This versatile outdoor linen garment is very tough to withstand the dust and grit of the trail.

These pants are available in many styles and features. Some of these pants can be divided into three separate pieces by means of zippered divisions. I have a cargo pant from PEPE and it has seen some really dusty and tough trails and has not let me down.

Apart from being able to wear it in three different styles I also can carry a number of items like my knife, compass and first aid kit in the numerous pockets provided. Cargo pants though expensive are really good investments as along with being a fashion statement they are also functional.
